The 40 hour NRRPT Exam review class is based on the 372 new Knowledge Objectives issued by the Board in June of 2020. All instructors have successfully PASSED the NRRPT Certification Examination. Online Self Study NRRPT Review Class

The new NRRPT Knowledge Objectives released in June of 2020 are incorporated into the class and references. The class is a great way to structure your review of the Knowledge Objectives and help you study. There will be more than 40 hours of class instruction, with multiple exercises and examples that incorporate the latest Knowledge Objectives.
The Online Class platform also includes Weekly quizzes and Knowledge Objectives quizzes to test yourself on your knowledge of each topic.

If you are thinking of taking the August 9, 2025 NRRPT exam, this is the class for you! The new NRRPT Knowledge Objectives released in June of 2020 are incorporated into the class and references. The class will meet Monday, Wednesday and Friday nights from 6:30 pm until 8:30 pm Mountain Standard Time, except for exam nights which will be 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm. The class is a great way to structure your review of the Knowledge Objectives and help you study. There will be more than 40 hours of class instruction, with multiple exercises and examples that incorporate the latest Knowledge Objectives.
While this online class only meets three days a week (MWF), we strongly recommend that you study for two hours on the remaining days as well!
Class will start Monday, June 16, 2025 at 6:30 pm Mountain Standard Time, and will begin with a mock exam to determine where to focus your study. The class meeting schedule is below.

All classes will use ZOOM software (zoom.us) which is free for students. All students should have access to a computer with a camera and microphone for optimal experience.
Online NRRPT Review Class (Starting BY September 4, 2025)
Course will be taught by Thomas E. Johnson and Frank Tourneur
If you are thinking of taking the November 18, 2025 NRRPT exam, this is the class for you! The new NRRPT Knowledge Objectives released in June of 2020 are incorporated into the class and references. The class is set up to keep you on schedule over a 10-week period. The class is a great way to structure your review of the Knowledge Objectives and help you study. There will be more than 60 hours (10 weeks) of class instruction, with multiple exercises and examples that incorporate the latest Knowledge Objectives. There will also be Question and Answer sessions every other week to talk directly with the instructors that will meet online at a set time every 2 weeks for 2 hours via Zoom.
While this online class only meets three days a week (MWF), we strongly recommend that you study for two hours on the remaining days as well!
Each Friday will conclude with a quiz of several questions to provide a review of materials covered and provide examples of the types of questions that would be covered. In addition, a Workbook and a Solutions Manual are provided, some of which is to be covered in the sessions. A final 150 question comprehensive exam will be administered to indicate areas of further study for the participants. The class meeting schedule is attached.

Participant Expectations
Participants are expected to self-study and ideally pre-read materials to be covered in the schedule. Specifically, the materials covered in the 3-Day Radiation Protection Basics Course should be reviewed in advance of the course as they will not be covered in detail in this course.
A Workbook and Solutions Manual are provided and it is suggested that 2 hours per week be allocated to round out and test knowledge.
Participation in the virtual sessions is encouraged but questions can be asked off-line to either instructor.
It is recognized that attendance at scheduled sessions may not always be possible due to work or personal commitments. A recording of the virtual sessions will be made and participants are expected to review at their earliest convenience.
